2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS

The upcoming 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS is expected to become one of the most exciting minicar models next year. This is because General Motors did a great job in improving the vehicle\’s appearance as well as most of its features. The 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS is set to debut in the earlier parts of January at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. However, General Motors provided a few statement that the upcoming Sonic RS will hit the dealerships later next year.

The 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS is a five-door hatchback. Compared to its predecessor, the 2013 version of the Sonic RS looks more attractive and daring. The upcoming model has an RS-specific grille, an all-new front fascia, and new fog lamps. In addition to this, the 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS gets a near rear fascia with a spoiler, mirror caps, and new rocker panels. These additional features make the 2013 Chevrolet Sonic different from the previous year\’s model.

The 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS will be available with a 1.4-liter turbocharged Ecotec four cylinder engine. This engine produces up to 138 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft. of torque. Potential customers are given the chance to choose from a six-speed automatic and manual transmission. The 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS will also be offered with standard features such as the stiffened and lowered suspension equipped with dampers tuned for performance, MyLink Infotainment system, and retuned sport exhaust.

Finally, General Motors has also implemented a few modifications on the interior of the 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS. The latest version of the Sonic RS obtained new sports seats in front matched with a sporty steering wheel with thicker rim and a flat-bottom layout. In addition to these, the 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS is also equipped with sports pedals made of aluminum and a gearshift knob specifically made for this model.
