Chrysler has recently revealed that the company is offering the newly-introduced Blacktop package on some of its vehicle models particularly the 2013 versions of the Dodge Challenger R/T, Charger R/T, and the Avenger. Chrysler has decided to offer this package on the models enumerated earlier so that these vehicles would look more intimidating as well as menacing.
Based on the information obtained from Chrysler, the Blacktop packages that the company would be offering on the Avenger, Charger R/T, and the Challenger R/T will be available in the month of December of this year. The cost of the package varies depending on the car model where it is offered. The price of this package when offered on the Avenger is $595, $1,995 on the Challenger E/T, and $1,795 on the Charger R/T.
Chrysler has also stressed out that the differences on the prices of the package when offered on the Avenger is different compared to the cost when this is offered of the Charger R/T or the Challenger R/T since the number of the optional features included on the package varies from one model to another. Given this premise, it is quite correct to conclude that the Challenger R/T which is equipped with the Blacktop package has more optional features compared to the Avenger which is also equipped with such package.
In order to understand the reason why the price of the Blacktop package varies from one model to another, Chrysler has enumerated the optional items that are offered in each of the Dodge models that are offered with this package. First off, the 2013 Dodge Avenger Blacktop is equipped with the 18-inch Gloss Black wheels made of aluminum and center caps that are also Gloss Black, headlight bezels that are dark-tinted, body-color spoiler on the rear, and Gloss Black front grille. This vehicle is also based on the current version of the Avenger SXT and equipped with standard equipments such as the projector foglamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and 6-speed automatic transmission.
