The 2012 Ford Focus Electric was awarded the highest rating for a five-passenger vehicle. It came in at 110 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe). It\\\’s closest competitor is the Nissan Leaf, and they beat it by 6 MPGe. Throw in the fact that the Focus will charge in about half the time as the Leaf, and you have a winning combination.
